Mark’s experience extends from networking to software development and publishing. He started his professional career, in the publications department and later the project office for General Dynamics. Earning an MBA from the University of San Diego, he spent two years as the marketing and sales department for a project software company before starting his own software company building business applications, writing two books and acting as contributing editor to five technical magazines becoming the 188th certified Project Management Professional (of now over 600,000.) He founded Data Transfer Group (later sandiego.com, Inc.) in 1994 as San Diego’s third retail dialup Inernet Service Provider. The company evolved into web development and hosting, originating many of San Diego’s institutions online, and then focused on making sandiego.com funded entirely with advertising and hotel reservation revenue. He sold sandiego.com in 2009 and founded PageMountain.com in 2010. Page Mountain LLC specializes in building and hosting online applications for business – from branding to site construction and operations integration to hosting and data management.
