When the leadership team of a billion dollar healthcare recruiting firm needed to bring their large HR recruiting web environment into a full production state in Amazon Web Services (AWS), they called on Mike Michalik, CTO of ANTARA Group, and his years of experience working with AWS and our overall IT knowledge and understanding of global implementations.
When we were brought into this engagement, it didn’t take long to realize that we were looking at a failed implementation from a previous vendor. The configuration was not implemented correctly and, therefore, was not providing the solution that was intended.
We cleaned up the existing deployment by fixing the access and adjusting the environment configurations to begin the proper implementation of the rest of the environment. When we started, we had two webservers, two application servers, two Active Directory servers and two database servers. When we finished with this client, we had six fully load balanced webservers and had reconfigured the application and database servers for replication.
Once our engagement was completed, the client was ultimately able to process more online registrations for their HR and recruiting efforts for the nursing and MD space.
